Dr. Shestack is all around an amazing human. He kind, thoughtful and extremely supportive! Always listens to my concerns. At a young age, I had a double hip replacement now it’s the three elbow surgery is and a horrific knee surgery and spinal stenosis. Needless to say I’m a bit of a mess, but Dr. Shestack is handled me with kid gloves, and I am grateful for him more than I can express.

I had appt at 3:45 I arrived at 3:10 they said that they were running behind more people would come in but never took me when I finny ask they then called me in I had my ride to pick me up at 4:45 I missed that ride by the time the next ride arrived it was 6:00 I was there for 3 hours! Why did they never called me in?

I arrived feeling defeated over my progress because I was leaning forward when walking after 2 hip replacements and developing DVT, then lymphedema in both legs, and had pain in lower back (as a result of arthritis and degeneration). When I left I was smiling and hopeful I will get back to being me. It was a happy prognosis in my book and everyone was kind, understanding, professional, and respectful. I left feeling hopeful and satisfied. I was grateful I thought the doctor had a solution and exceptional expertise for me.

Dr. Powers is the only pain Dr. I've had in fifteen years, after a bad back surgery that left me with chronic nerve damage. My pain is not completely gone but the best its been in fifteen years. I feel sticking with him there are only more good steps coming literally. Before him I've had 3 Doctors in Jacksonville Fl. where the surgery was performed and where I lived for 35 years, here in the Delray area I've had 2 before Dr. powers. I can honestly say that my Daughter and I believe he is the first one to put his patients and their pain problems his number one priority.

I recently permanently moved from NJ to Delray Beach, FL and started replacing all my Drs., as I am a senior. I do so by vetting every specialist on line first with certain parameters. How many 4 star references and I would read many of the positive & negative references. Where they graduated med school from and where they had their residencies etc. Well Dr. Shestack hit high scores on all my parameters. And so I booked, and I was NOT sorry, he is more than a pain DR. he is like a PAIN, a medical facilitator and an all around great guy. He follows up, does what he says he is going to do, and is great to talk to. He looked at the MRI reports and CD of my neck & shoulder and immediately collaborated with me on some plans. I Highly recommend Dr. Shestack.

Dr Shestack is the absolute best!!! We moved here 2 years ago and thought he would be crippled in the future. His back always hurt after his failed surgery years before. Dr Shestack gave him his life back he’s pain free and has Dr S found him a regiment to live by. He also is now there for me as well. His staff is wonderful as well. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and extremely pleasant. Don’t hesitate this is the Doctor you want!!!

Professional knowledgeable kind

I went to Dr. Blanco because I had read that his practice takes a multi-disciplinary approach to treating chronic pain. That is exactly what I was looking for and Dr. Blanco confirmed, right at the outset, that his practice does just that! I fell and required a hip replacement. The recovery requires physical therepy to improve my balance and build strength. I also have spinal stenosis which shoots terrific pain down my leg, so exercising was nearly impossible. The Physical Therapists and my pain doctors were in their individual silos, each addressing their own specialities and almost oblivious to the other. Then I found Dr. Blanco. I was very impressed by his knowledge and understanding about my situation. He recommended exercises that would build my strength and at the same time offered solutions to control my pain so that I'd get the maximum benefit from my physical therapy. I could not ask for a better, more insightful doctor.

My first impression of Dr. Blanco was that he is extremely knowledgeable, sensitive, and informative. I immediately felt at ease – and felt confident that I would receive expert medical care. Before seeing Dr. Blanco, I took the time to search for a doctor that doesn’t have a treatment plan in place prior to meeting me and knowing of my medical history. Dr. Blanco was the only doctor to do that. Unlike the doctor that I met with a week prior, Dr. Blanco allowed me to speak - while he listened- intently- making no attempt to dash to the next patient. The doctor that I saw before Dr. Blanco was very arrogant and made me feel that I was just not important. Dr. Blanco was so very understanding and listened to all of my concerns. He took the time to help me express my health issues without brushing me off. This time I had to wait like 40 minutes past my scheduled appointment. It happens. Once i was called in the staff was very professional. Dr. Powers explained the procedure and did a great job. I would have liked to get some insight into if I should continue on the meds he’s been subscribing. There was no mention of that.

Dr. Shestack has been my miracle doctor for the last 5 years. He has a great personality is always concerned about your pain level during a procedure. The ablation appears to be successful. As noted there is a little soreness, but the pain as all but subsided. I just hope it's long term. It's been tough for over three years, but this procedure is really the only one that has really worked. It also appears that my balance has improved a bit as well.

PLEASANT AND INFORMATIVE

There's just one thing we've got to change. Dr. B used to ask me at the end of every visit if I needed any refills on my medication, now he doesn't. I need his guidance with this because I take 14 different prescriptions, I don't know I'm running out until I'm running out. This always happens on a weekend, so by Monday I'm not feeling well and I have to call the front desk and try to convince them to ask the Dr. permission to fill that prescription - because I was just there. It should have been done at my visit but it wasn't. Sometimes they yes, but sometimes they say no and that's really frustrating. Yesterday I called the front desk about my refills. The message on the Voice Mail specifically says to leave only 1 voice mail, they will call me back. Well, they didn't call back. So that makes me wait another day, and now I'm really upset when I call on Tues. Then it was taken care of right away. Thank you. But please, ask me at my visits if I need refills. Doctors don't give multiple refills anymore. I used to get up to 11 refills on some meds, now I don't even get 1. That's a problem too on a larger scale. That's it, I'm finished. Dr Adam Shestack is a true professional. He monitors my wife and I for our separate issues and helps us keep medicine to a minimum. I am not a fan of pills and Dr Shestack doesn’t push them which I really like.
